Select a Case
You can select a practice case one of three ways, all from the home screen:
"Start at a particular case ... "

Type a case number here. The case number is a reference to a particular case. At the time of writing there are approximately 260 cases to choose from.
... or choose a case / set by diagnostic order ...

Clicking the various diagnostic order headings will reveal the case numbers in that category. Click a case number to go to that case.

View / Diagnose the Case
When you select a case the case starts by displaying the clinical view.

Observe the image, then click the 'Start' Button - this takes you to the Dermocopy View...

! The functionality of this quiz depends on the application be able to open another window for viewing. "Firefox prevented this site from opening a popup window." with an Options button. Select the option "Allow popups from dermoscopyatlas.mh-apps.com"
You then need to arrange the two browser windows now open so you can see both on your desktop, sometimes the Dermoscopy View window may be obscured by the main window, so it is important to keep in mind you may need to click that window's title in your windows taskbar to bring to the front.

You should now see both the Dermoscopy View and the 'Fist Step' Diagnosis form, you may need to arrange your windows (see above)
If you wish to try to diagnose the case, fill in the form. Then click the 'Check' button - this opens the 'textbook solution' page, with comments (if any) about the case.
If the case requires a 2nd step diagnosis, a "2nd Step" button will be available. Click this and a 2nd Step form will open, that you can fill in then 'Check' your answers against the textbook answers.
When you complete any case, use the << and >> navigation buttons to navigate through case by case, or click the 'home' link to return to the main case selection page.
